The life behind the objects

A body.
A disposition.

Forty segments. Five-fold appendage symmetry. A genome that specifies green pigmentation, pronounced patterning and a pulser’s movement parameters.

The world gives it a persona too: yielding, eager, lustrous, florid-skinned, verdant and even-dwelling. Its fixation is “my ribbing.” That generated voice becomes another thread through the collection.

This collection follows the exact PB-DE9A tile from the preview world. Its anatomy gives us the prints and sculpture; its pigmentation gives us the palette; its recorded phrase gives us a line to carry into everyday life.

The genome and lineage remain available alongside the objects. The world’s generated naturalist narrative and the studio’s artistic interpretations are identified as part of the work.
